Computers

Field Trips
Library
An adequate library is maintained for every child in the school. Teachers of every class regularly present opportunities during the week for students to browse and choose their favorites from the shelves. (The kindergarten library is at CYC)
All books may be checked out for a period of two weeks. If necessary one renewal may be made. Encyclopedias may be checked out over night only.
Students make their own selections and take the responsibility of returning the books on time. A fine of 5 cents is charged for each school day a book is kept past the due date.
Students checking out books must assume full responsibility for them and pay for loss or damage.
Using the library is a privilege and only those who comply with the rules and regulations will be allowed to borrow books. When overdue fees are not paid, or books are not returned, the library privilege may be cancelled.
The library is an indispensible service unit in the total education program of the school, and is closely integrated with the curriculum. Both teachers and pupils feel its influence. (Books are transported regularly to kindergarten rooms)
