Topeka Lutheran School Center for Young Children (CYC) is an all-day daycare (includes pre-school programs in the morning) located at 1732 Gage. CYC admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the preschool. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration of admissions and educational policies.

 

ENROLLMENT
Enrollment is on a first come-first served basis to those who have returned the appropriate enrollment forms and the $60.00 enrollment fee.
In keeping with state regulations, we are required to have on file the following forms:
1. Enrollment Form
2. Health Assessment completed and signed by the parents and the child's physician.
3. Authorization for Emergency Medical Care
4. Developmental History of the child.

 

WHAT TO BRING
Infants: diapers, wipes, diaper ointment, teething ointment, prepared bottles, extra empty bottle to use for water as needed, baby food, extra clothing, and a box of kleenex.
Toddlers: diapers, wipes, ointments, extra clothing, tooth brush and a box of kleenex.
Preschool/Child Care: crib sheet, small blanket, tooth brush, one extra set of clothing, book bag and a box of kleenex.

PAYMENTS AND FEES
PAYMENTS

SINCE OUR EXPENSES ARE SET, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GIVE CREDIT OR DEDUCTIONS FOR HOLIDAYS, ABSENCES DUE TO ILLNESS, BAD WEATHER, ETC.

Parents are asked to give two weeks notice of their intent to withdraw from the daycare program. If notice is not received, the normal fees will be charged.

Prompt departure at the end of the day is necessary, as children may feel anxious and uncomfortable being left when the day is over. Teachers also have other responsibilities and obligations.

THERE WILL BE A LATE CHARGE OF $10.00 FOR EACH 15 MINUTES AFTER THE SCHEDULED PICK-UP TIME.

A half-day preschool program is offered at the main campus (701 Roosevelt) in addition to a full-day preschool opening in August 2010. Call the school for more information.
