How has your education at Topeka Lutheran School prepared you for your life? Topeka Lutheran School challenged me to work hard academically and taught me about my Savior. My teachers were models for me of faith, love, and learning. I am incredibly blessed by their faithful Christian service and for all that they taught me.

What is one thing you would want people to know about Topeka Lutheran School that they might not think about? Lutheran schools are a great way to teach our young people that all life and learning are centered on the foundation of Jesus Christ. They are not a retreat from the world. They are a witness to the world that all knowledge and life come from God.

How has the teaching and modeling of Jesus' salvation received at Topeka Lutheran School impacted your trust in the Lord? My teachers, my church, and my parents all nurtured my faith in Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Their example is an encouragement for me to teach and proclaim what was given to me.

Please list some accomplishments that you have achieved since leaving TLS. I served for 16 years as a congregational Director of Christian Education in Matteson, Illinois and Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I also served for 2 years as a Lutheran high school teacher in Baltimore, Maryland. I am currently studying at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri to be a pastor. I am blessed to be married to a wonderful woman, Judy, and to have three energetic kids James (9), Joy (6), and Joseph (2).
