TLS Summer Reading Camp

Incoming Kindergarteners-4th graders are welcome to join us for a Summer Reading Camp! Mr. Taylor, Mrs. Kerns, & Mrs. Taylor are hosting two weeks (JUNE 17-21 & JULY 8-12) devoted to reading and writing skills. The camp is geared toward incoming K-4th graders at TLS as well as any of their friends and family. The camp will take place twice—students are welcome to sign up for one or both camps! The purpose of the camp is to build reading fluency, accuracy and independence. Kids will enjoy seeing their friends and being together as they are grouped in common age brackets. The morning will consist of a variety of reading stations, games and small groups. Help prevent the “summer slide” by keeping a book in their hands. We’ve worked hard all year so let’s keep their love of reading alive! View the flyer and sign up here:
